Do you suffer from Scoliosis? Does this condition cause you pain and discomfort? Have you tried other therapies and nothing seems to work?
If so, this workshop may be for you.
Scoliosis is a medical condition in which a person’s spine has a sideways curve. Mild to severe cases of scoliosis can cause a variety of pain in the sufferers and without regular monitoring and dedication to healing, the pain can get worse with age.
Come along to this experiential workshop which will shed light on the following topics:
* Understand the anatomy of the spine and what scoliosis is.
* Learn techniques, including yoga postures and relaxation techniques, to relieve back pain and possibly minimize the curvature of the spine, building strength on the convex curve and length on the concave curve.
* Comprehensive take-home notes to assist you after the course.
The workshop will be led by yoga teachers, Angelique Pratten and Ginny Clarke.
Not only will you leave the workshop with a strong and supple spine, but you will be provided with simple and effective exercises you can use at home to continue the healing process.
Yoga experience is not necessary. You’ll learn everything you need on the day.
